The goal of the Association is to promote the exchange of risk, bank management and finance knowledge by establishing and developing a scientific and practitioner’s community made up by people interested in the above mentioned subjects. The Association will organize and promote national and international conferences and workshops with the scope of advancing knowledge on financial subjects. In specific “The Risk, Banking and Finance Society” will have the task of organizing the “International Risk Management Conference” as permanent conference manager. The Association will also promote and carry out theoretical and applied research in the economics and finance field, specifically regarding the identification, assessment and treatment of corporate, bank, national and systematic risks. Moreover the Association will make an effort towards acting as coordinator between university research and professional associations.
